According to Harish Johari in the Vedic numerology Jupiter is attributed to the number 3. On the personal level 3 is the psychic number of people born on day 3, 12, 21, or 30 of any month. This mandala is appropriate to anyone attracted to it, is born on those days, or wishing to harmonize and to strengthen the Jupiter element in their personality.

Ganesh is the remover of obstacles and helps to create harmony and ease in ones life. I combined his yantra with a mandala design made from an ancient number grid named the Vedic square, choosing the number 3, which is connected to Jupiter. Ganesha‘s yantra works in this painting as a mediator for harmonizing the personal energies with the universal energy of Jupiter. Jupiter is seen as the giant self-illuminating planet in our solar system, which is radiating more energy than it receives from the Sun. Therefore he is the Guru – the remover of darkness – the teacher of the Gods, the Lord of Speech, who is helping in the progress and expansion of consciousness whatever he touches. He is said to rule over the progeny, education and marriage, the liver and the region from the waist to the thighs. For being the Lord of Speech he is attributed to the Ether element and vishuddhi chakra – the throat energy center.

Jupiter’s colour is yellow or chrome yellow and that is the overall feeling from the colours I have chosen as well. During the whole process of creation I have chanted and charged this painting with the Jupiter mantra.
