Navagraha Exploration – Planet Jupiter
18th June 2026
Join us for an online session dedicated to the qualities of the planet Jupiter, featuring insights from Vedic astrology with Sara, as well as mantra chanting, yantra drawing, and painting with Antarshuddhi.
Navagraha Exploration
Navagraha Exploration is an exquisite one-year journey through the nine planets visible to the naked eye, and, ultimately, a journey within ourselves too. This series offers a monthly session (except July and August) beginning in January, where we explore each planet through the lens of Jyotiṣa (Vedic/Indian astrology) while connecting with the sacred practices of mantra and yantra. The series will end with an integration session at the end of the year (December). Although the course stretches during the whole year, you can book single sessions or the replay of already past sessions.
This month’s session is dedicated to Jupiter, known in Sanskrit as Guru or Bṛhaspati – the planet of expansion, wisdom, and divine guidance. Through Jupiter’s influence, we awaken the power of realisation and intuition, expanding our capacity to perceive the bigger picture and align with higher truth.
Jupiter – Expression, Expansion, Wisdom
Jupiter — the giant, self-illuminating planet of our solar system — radiates more energy than it receives from the Sun. Revered as the Guru, the remover of darkness, Jupiter is the teacher of the gods, guiding the expansion of consciousness wherever his influence reaches.
He governs progeny, education, and marriage, as well as the liver and the region from the waist to the thighs. As the Lord of Speech, Jupiter is associated with the Ether element and corresponds to viśuddhi-cakra, the throat energy center, the seat of communication, expression, and higher wisdom.
Jupiter’s energy supports growth, optimism, and learning, encouraging both inner and outer progress. His influence fosters discernment, generosity, clarity of mind, and the expansion of knowledge, offering guidance and illumination along the spiritual path.
In Vedic numerology, Jupiter is connected with the number 3, which is also the psychic number of those born on the 3rd, 12th, 21st or 30th of any month. On Thursday, the day ruled by Jupiter, we will connect with Jupiter’s uplifting energy in a profound way, drawing his yantra and chanting his mantras to invoke insight, clarity, and inner growth.
Jupiter Yantra and Mantra
Yantras are sacred tantric diagrams, often seen as the materialised vibration of a mantra. Traditionally, they are practiced in combination with their respective mantra, as these sound vibrations are believed to heal, harmonise, and awaken the body on a subtle level. Mantras resonate with one’s physio-mental system, serving as a powerful vehicle for activating deeper inner forces and guiding individuals on the path to self-realisation.
During this three-hour online sādhana, we will create the Jupiter yantra by drawing it and charging it through mantra chanting, allowing us to connect with, balance, and support our personal Jupiter energy. You will also receive guidance on colours and painting techniques to complete your yantra in your own time.
Drawing and painting the Jupiter yantra is suitable for anyone drawn to it – particularly those born on a number 3 day or those seeking to harmonise and strengthen Jupiter-related qualities within themselves.
When placed in a chosen space, the yantra can stimulate luck, faith, courage, the gaining of inner knowledge and its expression through speech, as well as support individual and emotional illumination, energy and knowledge for both the observer and the surrounding environment.
