Akshaya Tritiya – the Indestructible Day

Akshaya Tritya (Akṣaya–tr̥tīyā) means undiminishing or indestructible. It is a day when, both materially and spiritually, all practice is considered to be fruitful and all endeavours bring prosperity. Vishnu (Viṣṇu) as the preserver is worshipped on this day. It is traditionally believed that any spiritual practice (sadhana) performed on Akshaya Tritiya multiplies in its benefits, bringing long-lasting prosperity, merit, and spiritual growth that carry forward from life to life. Because of this belief, many people set new spiritual intentions on this day, trusting that their efforts will yield enduring and ever-increasing results.

Mantra and Yantra – Tools for Inner Transformation

A yantra is a sacred geometric form that embodies the manifested energy of a mantra. Together, yantra and mantra serve as powerful tools for meditation and transformation, helping us expand our awareness and align the microcosm (inner world) with the macrocosm (universal energy).

Through sound and form — mantra and yantra — we create a simple, practical ritual to focus the mind, awaken creative and spiritual energy, and support personal transformation.

Session Details

During this 3-hour sadhana session honouring Narayana (Nārāyaṇa) in the form of Vishnu we will chant specific mantras and draw a yantra related to Vishnu and Laxmi (Lakṣmī) together.

We will explore the principles of how mantra and yantra work together to expand awareness and consciousness, supporting spiritual growth and inner clarity. These sacred tools help focus intention, deepen meditation, and cultivate wisdom and abundance in both spiritual and material life. You will also receive guidance on colours and forms of worship to help complete your practice and enhance the yantra’s energetic effect, allowing you to continue the practice at your own pace.

Whether you are new to this practice or experienced, this session provides practical tools to deepen your sadhana, strengthen concentration, and support spiritual growth and clarity.

We will celebrate Akshaya Tritya on the 19th of April 2026.
The session will take place from 9am until 12pm (CET), on zoom. It will not be recorded.

No previous knowledge or experience of drawing and painting is necessary. A list of materials needed will be emailed after booking

Cost of the session:

The session is by donation. Suggested range EUR 30 to EUR 60. We will send you payment details when we receive your booking. If the minimum amount is beyond your current means, then please give what is manageable for you.
